My favorite Chinese restaurant. Love the Mongolian beef & the Rangoons!! Family owned & operated , they used to run Yen-Ching restaurant also. Been dining at their restaurants for over 20 years. Robert is a superb waiter !

Went to the Sunday buffet. Even though there was still a half hour left in the buffet, the rice was low and what was there had obviously been sitting there for too long. As far as that goes, the same could be said of the vast majority of what was out for the buffet. Crab Rangoon was okay, but the egg roll was just horrible. I also had egg drop soup which was fair, but my SO had the hot & sour soup (verdict: awful). The kids barely ate anything, too. TL; DR: not fresh, not good, overpriced. Place is dirty and tired. Back in the day the restaurant might have been decent, but it's gone downhill since its glory days.

Dining alone didn't feel so for atmosphere, service, a natural warmth resonated. Meal was perfect 👌.

Cashew chicken with 5 cashews, 3pcs of green pea, very tasteless and and blah food. They also charged me additionally $1.77 for using my credit card instead of cash. Very disappointing place.

Sunday brunch buffet was quite good every dish I tried was excellent... And some really good desserts

I actually know delivery people that eat here and say when they deliver it is one of the most cleanest restaurants in Rockford especially the kitchen with good food. I have been eating at this location for at least 10 years or more and not had any bad experiences with food or service family-owned and operated there is a separate bar area available if you want to come in and watch TV and have a drink and grab a quick bite to eat that seems to be something that's not out of the ordinary.

Fantastic, the food was superb and service was great. Sizzling rice soup was exceptional, well worth it!

The orders were incorrect. Mushrooms tough, ordered beef onions mushrooms. Received chicken instead and no onions. Low mein was served just noodles. Got physically ill after eating several bites of chicken and mushrooms. Will never go there again

Great service, ambience and food!

Our General Tso chicken wasn't fit to eat. The outer coating was pure mush and the chicken tasted like it had been cooked a while and was quite gross. We tried to call them to complain but they apparently closed early which is something they do quite often.

There chinesse rice makes me feel like I am back home in Chicago ! Rice is suppose to be dark not yellow !

Absolutely outstanding! Have not been here for years. Was not disappointed. Fancy selection of silly paper umbrella downed drinks that pack a punch for 4.50! Awesome!!! Just remember to bring cash, they surcharge for using your debit/credit card.

You are given a surprising amount of food per order here, I was impressed. It's served on a sizzling hot plate and jasmine tea comes just for walking in the door. Dark, with traditional instruments hung on the wall, the place feels very Chinese -- right down to the little kiosk of collectibles for sale.

Can't beat thier lunch specials, $5 - $6 dollars. I love the Black Bean Tofu. For comlimentary tea, it is really good.

Went here a few weeks ago with a friend and the service and food was amazing! Huge food portions for the price! Presentation of the food was amazing and it was all delicious and hot! Don't let the outside fool you, the inside is amazing! Very clean. Lots to look at.
